  • What is Xemoto Media?
    Xemoto Media is an easy-to-use digital marketing platform that connects social media influencers with relevant brands to monetize their channels. By leveraging social media influencers, we help brands shape market sentiment by alerting a relevant audience about new product offerings, news and investment opportunities. To get started as an Influencer, sign up and submit your channels.
  • How does a partnership with Xemoto Media work?
    The Xemoto Media platform gives influencers opportunities to monetize their channels by sending them invitations to participate in our client campaigns We are non-exclusive. You can work with other brands while being an influencer in the Xemoto Media network Xemoto Media does not accept any portion of your earnings You are paid after accurately sharing content with your followers and uploading the post analytics, in accordance with the campaign schedule To get started as an Influencer, sign up and submit your channels.
  • What is Xemoto Media looking for in an Influencer?
    We are looking for Influencers who create content with a specific interest such as financial literacy, stocks/investment, business, technology and services. We value Influencers who have a broad geographical and global reach, brand safe content and consistent, engaging posts. To get started as an Influencer, sign up and submit your channels.
  • How many followers should I have?
    We look for influencers who have at least 5,000 followers on their primary channels. To get started as an Influencer, sign up and submit your channels.
  • What social media platforms does Xemoto Media accept?
    We currently run campaigns across TikTok, Twitter, Instagram (posts and reels only), YouTube, Facebook, Discord, Podcasts, Newsletters, Twitch and LinkedIn. To get started as an Influencer, sign up and submit your channels.
  • Finance only- What securities regulations must Xemoto Media and its influencers comply with?
    At Xemoto Media, we take compliance very seriously. As an influencer who is posting financial content, your posting is regulated by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Securities Act of 1933 – Section 17(b) – Fraudulent Interstate Interactions, which states: (a) It shall be unlawful for any person in the offer or sale of any securities (including security-based swaps) or any security-based swap agreement (as defined in section 3(a)(78) of the Securities Exchange Act 27) by the use of any means or instruments of transportation or communication in interstate commerce or by use of the mails, directly or indirectly – (1) to employ any device, scheme, or artifice to defraud, or (2) to obtain money or property by means of any untrue statement of a material fact or any omission to state a material fact necessary in order to make the statements made, in light of the circumstances under which they were made, not misleading; or (3) to engage in any transaction, practice, or course of business which operates or would operate as a fraud or deceit upon the purchaser. (b) It shall be unlawful for any person, by the use of any means or instruments of transportation or communication in interstate commerce or by the use of the mails, to publish, give publicity to, or circulate any notice, circular, advertisement, newspaper, article, letter, investment service, or communication which, though not purporting to offer a security for sale, describes such security for a consideration received or to be received, directly or indirectly, from an issuer, underwriter, or dealer, without fully disclosing the receipt, whether past or prospective, of such consideration and the amount thereof This is why it is imperative that, as a Finfluencer within the Xemoto network, you must always follow the guidelines of how to post, include their disclaimers, such as #ad, and never recommend an investment.   • Finance only- Why is Xemoto Media news dissemination not considered promotion?
    We never ask our influencers to endorse or provide their opinion on any piece of content; we only ask that they disseminate it. As an influencer, you have the choice to add a summary or direct quote from the content when posting.   • How are Influencer payment rates calculated?
    The payment rate for each influencer channel is calculated based on several factors: The number of followers The platform Post engagement Quality of content Fee per sponsored post can be renegotiated quarterly as organic follower base continues to grow.
  • When will influencers get paid?
    Influencers are expected to submit their analytics at the end of a 1-week campaign period. A campaign is closed when all participating influencers have accurately submitted their analytics into the Xemoto Media platform. Influencers are paid 3-5 business days upon a campaign closing.
  • What payment methods does Xemoto Media offer?
    Payment is offered via PayPal, which is integrated into the Xemoto Media platform under “Wallet”.
  • Can influencers be paid if they are international (outside Canada/US)?
    Yes! Our payment provider (Paypal) facilitates global payments.
  • I’ve completed a campaign, why haven’t I been paid?
    If you have not been paid, it may be due to one or more of the following issues: You did not submit your analytics to the dashboard 24-48 hours after the campaign period. You submitted incorrect analytics and have not made the corrections, after our request to do so. The post had incorrect information- and you did not follow our instructions to revise it before the end of the campaign period.   • Does Xemoto Media accept influencer referrals?
    Yes! We love referrals. If you make a referral that leads to a partnership with a new influencer, you are entitled to compensation! Contact your Influencer Success rep to refer a peer.
  • How long do I have to submit my post analytics?
    Each campaign period is 7 days. Following the campaign period, you have 24 hours to submit your analytics to the dashboard.
  • What information do I need to submit my analytics to the Dashboard?
    To submit your analytics on our Xemoto dashboard, you need six (6) very simple pieces of information: Post URL: A link to your live post. Screenshot of your post and its analytics: This can be found in most post settings for any social media platform. Reactions: the number of likes or any other type of reaction (e.g., ‘Love’ reaction on Facebook, ‘Celebrate’ reaction on LinkedIn, etc.). These are NOT impressions on Twitter. Comments: the number of comments on your post. Shares: the number of times your post was shared Saves: the number of saves Impressions: the number of impressions Follower count: only required if your follower count has changed significantly
  • Will I be notified if my analytics are accepted?
    Yes, you will be alerted via email if your analytics are accepted
  • Why were my analytics rejected? What do I do?
    If there is an issue with your analytics, you will receive an email detailing how to fix and re-upload your analytics. If your analytics were rejected, it is likely because of an inaccuracy in reporting between the post and the uploaded data. Revisions must happen within 24 hours. Failure to fix the analytics will result in an inability to confirm your outreach and may jeopardize payment.   • What can I write on my post?
    Use the key points provided in the content brief as an outline for what you should/should not say. We encourage you to speak/write in your typical tone of voice. You must always indicate that it’s a sponsored post and never provide financial advice.   • What is Xemoto Media looking for in a post?
    The ideal posts maximize organic engagement, comments, and shares. Posts should have the same look and feel as your organic content, to optimize performance.
  • How long do I have to keep my posts up?
    Influencers are required to keep the posts visible on their channels for a minimum of 3 months.
  • How often do I have to post?
    You are encouraged to participate in as many campaigns as you’d like. There are no posting minimums or quotas- you get to control 100% of the content you post to ensure it works for you and your audience.
  • Do I need to add disclaimers?
    Yes- you must always indicate that your post is sponsored, you may choose to do so by having #ad or #sponsored in the text. The client may also include disclaimers to add within the content brief, which will be mandatory to include. Check out our Posting Guidelines for more information.
  • Will I be alerted when there’s a new opportunity?
    Yes, you will be alerted via email when there is a new opportunity. If you are not being alerted via email, please check your notification settings or contact us at support@xemotomedia.com.
  • How much time do I have to accept an opportunity?
    There is no specific time requirement to accept an opportunity; however, we encourage you to accept opportunities as soon as possible. Once the campaign has reached capacity, no other influencers will be allowed to participate. Typically, we reach our quota within a few hours.
  • What if I can’t/don’t want to participate in a campaign?
    You are able/encouraged to reject any campaigns you do not wish to participate in.
  • What kind of a review process does Xemoto Media conduct with its prospective influencers?
    Our influencers are carefully vetted during the application and sign-up process. We consider the following factors: 1. Profile metrics and statistics, including: Engagement on posts Total channel reach Relevant sector(s) or categories Established community reputation Group creation date 2.   • How do I get my channels added to the Xemoto Media network?
